Get tech savvy with monthly Computer Training Bridge Classes

Mark your calendars for the Lewisville Branch Library’s monthly Computer Training Bridge classes on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. in the branch’s Multipurpose Room.

Registration is required. All classes are free, and you can sign up for as many as you’d like. Call the branch or click on the class name to register.

June 25: Introduction to the Internet
Learn how to navigate the internet and search for content all while protecting your personal information.

July 23: Internet Safety
This program is designed help people to learn how to stay safe online. We'll also explore great online searching strategies including NC Live.

Aug. 27: Creating a Gmail Account
Learn how to set up a Gmail account, send and receive messages, send attachments, and more!

Sept. 24: Introduction to Google Drive
This class will teach you how to save, rename and locate files and download them to a USB drive.

Oct. 22: Introduction to Google Docs
Learn to create and edit text documents right in your web browser—no special software is required. Even better, multiple people can work at the same time, you can see people’s changes as they make them, and every change is saved automatically.

Nov. 26: ChatGPT
Dive into the world of conversational AI with our ChatGPT class! This course is perfect for anyone looking to harness the potential of OpenAI's powerful language model, whether you're a developer, content creator, or business professional.

Dec. 31: Indeed 101
This class will teach you the ins and outs of Indeed - an online resource where you search for jobs and to post a professional profile as well as your resume to help you network with people in your field.
