Nominations sought for Community Appearance Awards

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Community Appearance Commission is seeking nominations for the 2020 Community Appearance Awards. The Community Appearance Awards recognize individuals, businesses, community groups, and projects that have had a positive impact on the community’s appearance.

Entries may be submitted by anyone wishing to publicly recognize eligible individuals, groups, and projects. To be eligible for an award, a project must be complete and located in Forsyth County. General categories for nominations include residential and commercial new construction and rehabilitation (exterior only), historic restoration (exterior only), public/community/civic involvement, architectural excellence, and landscape design and conservation.

To submit a nomination, please complete the nomination form and provide digital photos that adequately illustrate the project or work and a short written statement on why the project, individual, or group is deserving of an award.
